Whiteoak Yearbook 2020 Update - May 5, 2020

As we continue to be confined to our homes for a few more weeks due to the Coronavirus (CoVid-19), we are working hard to finish the Whiteoak Yearbook for the 2020 school year. BUT, we need your help!!! During this time, students are continuing to do classwork work at home in their personal study areas (upload pictures during these times), while creating memories through other fun activities, such as reading, playing outside, working out to stay in shape, virtual or drive-thru birthday parties, and any other activities during these times at home. Let’s continue to take advantage of this and create some yearbook pages of students at home. We need your photos to put in the yearbook.
Thank you

Senior Yard Sign UPDATE!!!

A BIG SHOUT OUT to the Southern Highland Joint Fire District, along with Chuck Wait Tire, The Old Y, Nutrien Ag and H & R Block (Mt. Orab) who have offered to pay the remaining $15 for Senior Yard Signs, so every Whiteoak Senior will have one. If any Senior/Parent wants to use a picture other than their Senior Composite, please email it to nancymaysphotography@yahoo.com by this Friday, April 24th. We are moving up this date so we can get the signs a week sooner.

Thanks again for supporting our Whiteoak Seniors!

Bright Elementary Students continue practicing at home "The Pledge of Allegiance"

With the second learning packet that was sent home, each student received a US Flag and The Pledge of Allegiance. Bright Local wants to give a BIG THANK YOU to the Roy W. Wilson Post 694 American Legion for purchasing 450 flags to make this possible.

Message from the Superintendent

Certainly, the COVID-19 crisis has had a dramatic impact on all our lives.  Keeping our children and community members safe is the top priority.  Two areas of focus have emerged during this crisis, continuing the learning process and providing nutritious meals to our children in need.  Two rounds of learning packets with traditional paper/pencil activities have been distributed to our students.  Drop boxes, for completed work, have been placed in front of each of our buildings.
